cruisin back
While i was waiting for visitors to arrive at my cousins house for the fiest day, he started playing the cruisin' cd on their home theatre.
I could recognize the songs and the sequence that was playing downstairs, so i shoute and asked my cousin if he was playing the "cruisin" love songs and he yelled back that it's actually is. I don't have the 4 c copies, but i have one tape [cartridge] of the cruisin II which was only given to me by a special someone back when i was in highschool/college. From that time on, i started liking the songs that was in it. well, i'm actually more of a "love songs" fanatic even if i can listen to different genre.
as songs played from one to another, it brings back sweet memories of me of how i gotten one copy of it.
it was actually a summer vacation between 1999-2001 when i visited my long time crush [a crush i had since 1995] in their house. he was actually playing the cartridge when i get so into it. I asked him if i can borrow it, and he never had second thoughts of giving it. after few days when he visited me in my house, he told me that he is giving me the tape. of course! i was super happy and instea of playing it always, i kept it an treasured it.
it was later on our relationship [we are super close, dont get me wrong with it] that we parted and had separate lives. instead of me keeping everything he gave me, i returned everything that includes the tape.
as i keep on listening to the music, i tried to feel what is really inside. trying to examine if i still long and wish for him, or if i'm over with the feelings. and the answer to my query is another song that says, "i remember the boy, but i don't remember the feeling anymore."
