The Journey of my LONDON FOG Audrey Satchel

I'm a sucker when it comes to handbags. I can't resist them especially when I feel like they are looking at me and they wanted me to buy them. Growing up I have always adore handbags. I always make it a point that my handbags are nice as well as my foot wear. I’m not a big fan of clothing apparels because i grew up from hand-me-downs, and I’m good at mix and match. But handbags??? OMG!! They are irresistible and I could never say no to them!

 

I had been eyeing this London fog Audrey satchel handbag for like months now. I first saw this from ecpono youtube account, when she posted a video from her shopping haul and one of her purchases is this cobalt blue London fog from TJ Maxx. I fell in love with the bag but unfortunately it is not available here in the Philippines. And that is very disappointing to me! I searched for that in the internet and asked friends who were in America to look for it, and if they can find it in TJ Maxx since that was the place where Camille had bought the bag. But to my dismay most of my friends who have TJ Maxx near them could not find this bag. They were already out of stock! But i didn’t give-up from owning one of this bag.

When one of my friends get the chance to do a long list of her shopping spree for her wedding here in Philippines, I asked her if she can include this. I looked for ways to have this and thank goodness SAMS STORE has this bag. Unfortunately, the branch of sams store that has the availability of this bag is only from Texas. So we calculated how much will it costs for everything and agreed on a price. I was lucky that my friend KM is too nice to give some credits for the price. I didn’t hesitate nor had second thoughts about buying it because it would be a dream come true to me.

And so after 50 days from shipping days from America to Philippines, from Manila to Samar. I got my precious bag with me. I could not help but use it right after it arrived from Manila.

I love the bag, but then, I don’t like the material because if hard leather and the bag itself is heavy. But it doesn’t look like it is whenever Camille is using it. It goes with getting used of using them everyday going to work that it feels like it is not as heavy as it is. I love it coz its handy except for the fact that it has clasp that most of the time I forgot how to open it.

The bag is very spacious, it has lots of compartments and the inside of it has cellphone pocket and some secret pockets where you can put something in it. It also has two extra small pockets in front with the same clasp as lock. And there is also an open pocket at the back.

All in all, after the shipping and the heavy thing I STILL LOVE IT!!! J
