A Borrowed Week Night

I was kind of lonely, sad and just not in the mood to work for my papers because my nephew went back to Manila and another friends is trying to put me in hole I didn't create. So, I called my February 15, 2012 night a movie night. It had been ages since I was able to do this. Not thinking of work for the next day and just pretty relaxing and just being free from any worries.

Had watch couple of movies before I end up watching this – Something Borrowed. I heard a lot of good positive comments about the movie but since work had taken all my time, I forgot that there was this cute romantic comedy movie that was out in the movie house.

I like the concept of the bestfriend-and-the-sister-i-never-had relationship with Rachel and Darcy. And the match-making activity of Rachel to her best friend Darcy and her law school classmate Dex. But it had been unknown to both Dex and Rachel about their feelings towards each other. Rachel had been a good sport and a good friend despite her glowing feelings towards Dex, while Dex is also a nice and loving boyfriend to Darcy despite he had a huge secret crush to Rachel. After an enchanting and revealing night on Rachel’s birthday, both Rachel and Dex were uncomfortable around with each other.

Dex didn’t stop reaching unto Rachel to know whether the feelings were mutual. He tried to reach out and talk to her, till they had a chance to talk during the holiday July 4^th, and their feelings were revealed.

The whole movie was cute, fun and very romantic. The lead role was very cute, and I think it happens in reality. The movie is more realistic, even the twist.

I just hope, there is alot of good movies like that in the future. Easy to understand, very light and entertaining.
