Leap of Year

The last day of February . . . the 29^th . It means this year is considered a Leap Year since there is 29^th.

Leap year was an irish tradition. They believed that during leap year, a woman can propose to her man. She can ask for his hand in marriage, instead of the other way around. It had been in their culture for many years now.

I got this reference from the movie LEAP YEAR, so i’m not quite sure if it’s true nor if it happened in other culture and in real life. I never tried it. . though eversince i was a little girl. . . i believe on leap year. That someday i can propose to the man of my life for his hand and to marry me. Unfortunately, since i’m single today so i won’t be able to propose to anyone. . nor to my other half.

when i was in elementary, i would love to try to propose to a guy but never had a chance in doing it. What i usually do. . is i give them cards during valentines day to be able for him to get the msg i want to convey. But i’m fortunate, coz until now. . i still remain good friends with those guys.

This could be true to some. . this could not be true to others. What’s your story? I wanna hear `em =)
